On Friday, the National Health Authority (NHA) announced the integration of eSanjeevani, with the scheme Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Union Health Ministrys telemedicine service eSanjeevani customers can use the interface to create an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) and use it to maiantian and manage their health records. On eSanjeevani, users will be able to share their health records with doctors, which would aid in improved medical care.

The NHAs CEO, Dr R.S. Sharma: "ABDM aims to build digital highways to bridge the gaps in existing digital health solutions and stakeholders in India. The integration of eSanjeevani with ABDM is one such example where 22 crore ABHA holders can link and store their health records created via eSanjeevani directly in the health lockers of their choice."

The eSanjeevani service comes in two flavours: the first is the eSanjeevani Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centre (AB-HWC), which helps the users visiting an HWC to virtually connect with doctors and specialists and the second is the eSanjeevani OPD, which directly connects patients from their homes. Both versions are compatible with the ABDM platform.
